Assalammualaikum~ I will write about soundtrack for this entry. In fact, i have always loved film and TV soundtracks.
Since then, I often was introduced with the artist that I haven’t heard of
before as it provide an attention-grabbing selection of songs and artists with a
common mood or theme.
The term soundtrack can refer to several
things, depending on use. In the broadest sense it simply means everything you
hear in the movie - sound effects, dialog, music. This meaning is usually
applied in a more technical setting, in reference to the sound as opposed to
the visuals. Soundtrack can also refer to the entirety of the music in the
film, encompassing score and songs that were either licensed or written for the
film. Confusingly enough, oftentimes record companies will release a soundtrack
from a movie which does not include any of the score. Generally that's because
people are more interested in listening to songs from the movie that were
written to stand alone, as opposed to score which was written to be part of the
whole of the film. So the term soundtrack can also refer to only the songs in a
movie, excluding the score that also sometimes called background score,
background music, film music or incidental music which is original music
written specifically to accompany a film.
Most of the movies or film today will used
a lot kinds of sound or music in the movies basically with the intention to
keep audiences engaged and in-the-moment without being too distracting.
Somehow, the songs were great to listen then others songs and it can recall to
that particular movie itself. So, next time you watch your favorite movies or
television series, let try giving more attention to the soundtrack. Not only
you could acknowledge some new artists or interesting music genre that you
might never like before but at the same times, you can appreciate on how much
care and effort that been served to creating just right atmosphere.
